Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 Screen died?

I've owned my Tab S3 for all of 27 days, and for the first 26 it was amazing! Last night, while reading with the Kindle app, my screen blinked a couple of times over a 5 minute period, then went green, with flickering lines. I can't power it off, I can't manipulate anything on the screen and I worked with Samsung tech support to try to reset the tablet to no avail.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I think it's a hardware issue, but wanted to check with the group before I send...
