Pixel 2 XL running 8.1 severe BT Issues

We just bought three Pixel 2 XL's this week from Verizon. I bought them primarily because of the camera and the uncluttered android platform. After having the phones for a week I am on the verge of returning them all. The bluetooth performance of this phone are horrible. Calls go to my watch speaker when I answer on my phone.
