graphics problems on Amazon fire hd 10

we had an 8 inch amazon fire hd tablet, just got a 10 inch. on the one game Bowling King-there are black lines, splotches on the bowling lane. You can play the game but the black areas were not there on the 8 inch. what could be causing this? thanks for any help. I've contacted the makers of game and Amazon - they say to clear cache - did that, didn't work. Is it due to the larger screen?...
