LG G6 Weird Home button transition bars?

Hey All!

I wanted to ask if anybody has been experiencing the same thing I have with my new LG G6 device.
If I'm in an app or in the middle of something and press the home button, a weird blue bar ( top ) and black bar ( bottom ) will appear just before you hit your home space (like an app that only shows top and bottom areas). And also, sometimes, the keyboard will also show up in that small time frame and go away. Feels like there an app that's doing something and then gets cut...
