Oops!..bought a replacement battery when I didn't need it....now what?

The other night my phone just wouldn't charge above 66% for some reason, despite unplugging the charger and then starting again for a few hours....twice! I thought I must have a damaged battery for some reason so I jumped the gun and ordered a replacement battery online. The next day I tried charging the phone again and lo and behold it charged to 100% again. I haven't a clue as to what all that was about, but now I've got a battery coming that I don't need....yet anyhow.

My question...
