Is there an app to overlay transparent photo on screen?

Hi,

I was wondering if there is an app that would allow me to overlay a semi-transparent .png photo onto the screen, so that I could easily replicate an old photograph by using camera preview? Or, you know, something that would serve the same purpose. I haven't find anything so far, apart from an app that automatically merges photos taken at specific locations in London with old photos, which is not what I'm looking for. Would the OS even allow something like this?
