Searching Location notification.

Yesterday I turned off the location services and I do not know what I was thinking. Now today when I realized the usefulness and turned it back on the "searching location" notification is flashing continuously for the past hour and I can t seem to get it to stop.

This one is a Verizon Moto Droid Maxx 2 on Marshmallow.

Does anyone have the solution to stop this please? I would appreciate your help.
