Galaxy S7 edge/Hands free

My S7 edge, has paired up with hands free in my Hyundai, but I cannot properly make hands free calls, IE when I press the relevant button on the steering wheel and say "Call joe bloggs" I get a reply command not possible. I had the car in yesterday all day for full diagnostics, and I have been told that I have the very latest system that Hyundai put into 2018 cars, but my phone came out Feb/March 2016 they (the garage) say my phone is more advanced than the car system!!
