Samsung Galaxy Tab 4

I am really having issues with the OS update it keeps saying that it is up to date but it is still saying that the current update is install but it really not. I tried to use my USB and connect to my computer but that did not work as well. I really need help. My tab is rebooting itself on it's on and that is the only reason I know it would do that
