Is there any way to control the audio output manually at all times?

I'm using my v20 connected to my Silverado with MyLink, and several times a day lately it has lost audio connectivity while still paired to the truck.

I have noticed that when it is trying to pair to two separate Bluetooth devices at the same time, a drop down menu will come up where I can select which Bluetooth device to use. I'm wondering if there's a way to get that to appear manually.
