Guys, need ur help - Samsung Gear Fit or some other wearable?

Guys, My friend is gonna buy me a wearable tech this black friday and the one shortlisted is Samsung Gear Fit.

I want a fitness tracker (a smartwatch functionality would be a added benefit) which could log my steps/ distance, a couple of monitors such as the heart rate monitor and one which shows time.

I checked out the Samsung Gear Fit and the Nike+ Fuelband (yeah not android but it syncs with an android phone) and a couple of others.

Would be great help if you guys could mention any...
