should i switch phone now and if so to which one?

I have a Samsung galaxy s6 device for 2.5 years and it doing some problems in the last months and I'm thinking about buying a new phone but my plan was to buy a new premium phone in the summer like galaxy s8+ but recently the problems on my phone have become more annoying and the biggest problem is my charging port which annoys me on a daily basis and in the same price it cost to fix it I can buy a new "cheap" smartphone so I have 3 options.
