Phone slowdown or stupid question?

Hello! So I am gonna ask a very stupid question but I have to ask it. If transfer photos and videos directly to my file system from PC to my phone (like open the folder with the photos and videos then drag and drop them directly into my device so I to the camera forlder) can that slow down my phone? Like apps open slower and stuff like that? I mean if I am not using an app to transfer the photos and videos but I do it directly is that gonna affect my device or is that just a stupid question...
