Pixel XL worth buying?

Hey everyone!
I am looking at getting a Pixel XL 128 GB. I currently have a S7 on ATT and I want to upgrade. I'm used to the immediate updates from coming from iOS and different android phones have different update times which drive me crazy. I really like the pure android experience the Pixel has and how they get updates first. Is it worth getting one now that they're almost a year old?
