Intoduction

I am Christy from CA. I have a Sprint LG V20 phone. When I go to the text message screen.. The display shows the messages as if they are there. But the area where they would be is blank and grey. I have restarted the phone and even shut it off and turned it back on. I also went to my local Sprint store and that location does not have the diagnostic tool to find the problem. Any ideas would be helpful other than to be without a phone.
