I frequently connect my Note 8, using a Samsung USB cable, to a USB 3 port on my desktop mainly to transfer copies of pictures to my PC (copy/paste drag-n-drop) via a file manager application (xplorer2) on my PC. Most often a window pops up stating "The device is currently busy and the contents....", see the attached image.Sometimes it takes as much as 20 minutes to fully display the contents of the "Galaxy Note8\Card\DCIM\Camera" folder on the phone.
