Want to broadcast from Motorola Moto G phone to car radio

I'm on my fourth (4th!!) car radio with 'handsfree phone' capability. In my state it is illegal to talk on a cell phone in the car, but handsfree phones are OK.
In every case, I can hear the caller just fine and clear, but THEY say I sound as if I'm in the bottom of a well, or, in many cases, they refuse to talk to me at all saying they can't hear me. It appears such a simple concept is beyond my reach.

However, when putting SPEAKER ON on my Moto G, people can hear me just fine, even...
