Some months ago I was looking for a solution to a sign in problem which had suddenly appeared on my Samsung Tab A ---- without success --- so I had to live with it. Now it has taken a turn for the worse so I must try again. Somehow without any intention on my part my 'no sign in requirement' got switched to a 'swipe screen in a number of directions' requirement. As I had not set it up in the first place I have no idea what the open sesame combination is and have not landed on it by chance....
