Nexus 6p 7.1.1 beta

Hi ladies and gents hope your all well, I'm new to the forum and I am requiring a bit of your knowledge, I have just recently purchased a nexus 6p after I had to give my note 7 back :-(, anyway to cut a long story short I've joined the beta programme and downloaded the OTA update to 7.1.1 and everything seems to be working fine baring the GIF keyboard, the keyboard is accessed by pressing the smiley symbol whilst in messenger and it should be on that screen, mine is there but it has a slash...
