Phone blacked out, completely unresponsive

I've got a Sony xperia M5, today i cleared cache, freed up about 2 GB of internal memory, and then after the next screen timeout it locked and stopped responding. I tried restarting it with every combination of power button + volume buttons for 30 seconds but to no avail. I was googling ways to do hard reset but couldn't do a single one of them. Screen just stays black. Only sign of life it gives is when i connect a charger and it's a red light in the corner, interchangeably glowing brighter...
