Nexus 6p Battery Issue

once the battery goes below 50% phone shuts down due low battery
it s been happening at various percentages, as in sometimes at 50%
sometimes at 40% sometimes at less than that.
I did a full factory reset and it was fine for a while but now the problem is back
sometimes it dies at 10% some times at around the 40%-50% mark
Eitherway way the phone shuts down due low battery below 50%


Anyone else having the same issue?
Is it a hardware issue? should i just get the battery replaced?
