History gone please help :(

I feel stupid for doing this. I tapped on clear history thinking I could chose to clear history in past 5 hours like I can in chrome but it just cleared the entire history WTF! It gave me no warning when I tapped on clear history. Something sensitive to touch screen like my earphone wires could have touched on clear history and with no warning. That does not make any sense. I regret using Samsung Internet for android browser. I need urgent help please
