Youtube app icon cant be removed

Hi. I just got my S8 plus. All seems to be well, however I long pressed the youtube icon to move it the home screen and now I cant remove it. It just seems to stay at the lower right side and just hangs there no matter where I swipe, like a constant fixed icon. Maybe its because its so close to the edge screen that it thinks it a fixture. any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
