Is it possible to unlock the Huawei Y6 Bootloader?

Hello,

I purchased a Huawei Y6 SCL-101 in July of last year. It was a low cost phone but looks good and functions well. The problem is, I cannot do much with it in regards to rooting even though I used Kingroot because (correct me If I'm wrong), the bootloader has to be unlocked or else it's just half root.

As a result, I've been unable to remove the network unlock, install Ad Away or change some system files completely.
