Cannot Change OK Google Detection options

Device: Huawei P9 running Marshmallow
I can't record video with stock app because the "camera is recording audio." So, I'm trying to change my OK Google settings. Currently it is toggled on to Say "OK Google" any time. If I toggle this option off, it automatically reverts to the on position when I exit the Google app settings.
Any suggestions?
