Apps Crashing, or stopping or worse.

I have a Moto E 1st gen with Android kitkat 4.4.4. Lately I have been having a lot of apps stopping and crashing, and some keep disappearing! I've cleared the cache, I've uninstalled and re-installed apps, I've rebooted the phone. And all the music files I download keep disappearing. Is it the SD card maybe?
