Chinese android

Hi everyone I'm new here.

I have an Mi android phone made by Xiaomi Inc, which I bought in China and took back home to the Caribbean. I was able to switch to my local service provider network the moment I landed, without any problems, so I can make calls, receive calls, even downloaded WhatsApp but the issue having is that the phone doesn't have a proper browser or at least not one that's compatible with my needs.

When I do searches in the built in browser the results come up in Chinese....
