Can't save shortcut to homescreen using Dolphin

I have a Samsung S7, Android 8.0. Dolphin is my default browser. Previous to about May, 2018, I was able to save websites to the home screen using the 'Add to', 'Home screen' option, or long pressing the bookmark and 'Add shortcut to home'. Using those methods I would get the 'Added to home screen' message and the shortcut would be saved. The message no longer appears and no shortcut is saved to the Home screen. However, I CAN save website shortcuts using Firefox so it may be a Dolphin...
