Any ideas on when the call screening function is coming to the pixel 2? I just had an app update for Phone (beta) but still don't show up on my phone app.

Note 9 SMS notification question.

Hi my parents have Note 9's on AT&T and recently have both started having an issue where the notifications for text messages will show a number 2 by the app and they only have one new message. It doesn't matter who is texting them it is happening for all texts. Once they check and read the text message it clears and shows no messages.

Any idea why this is happening and how they can fix it?

Huawei P9 Android calendar notifications making no sound, ringtone

I have a Huawei P9 and I am constantly missing the notifications for events because, despite having set a ringtone noise (one of my own music files, not one of the phone's default sounds), the notification alert just vibrates once instead and makes no noise. S7 edge con oreo non si attiva wifi

Salve, ieri ho giocato un pò con il mio "nuovo" s7 edge e ho provato ad installarci oreo. Ho letto un sacco di guide e mi sono fatto un minimo di idea del mondo android. Ho installato odin e con samwire ho scaricato dei firmware, ne ho scaricati anche da sammobile. Ho installato diversi firmware oreo che ho trovato per l's7 edge ma con nessuno risco ad attivare il wi fi, mi dice continuamente attivazione in corso. Dove sbaglio?
Ora sto provando a scaricare nougat e vedere se con quello...

Oreo home screen display

My carrier finally upgraded me to Oreo yesterday. I have shortcutted (for years now) most of my apps to the home screen because I don't like how they're organized in the app drawer.

On Nougat, one home sceen "row" was 5 apps wide. With Oreo, it's only 4. Nothing in Settings > Display seems to help. If I can' change this back to 5-to-a-row, it will totally make my organizational OCD flare up big time

Can't save shortcut to homescreen using Dolphin

I have a Samsung S7, Android 8.0. Dolphin is my default browser. Previous to about May, 2018, I was able to save websites to the home screen using the 'Add to', 'Home screen' option, or long pressing the bookmark and 'Add shortcut to home'. Using those methods I would get the 'Added to home screen' message and the shortcut would be saved. The message no longer appears and no shortcut is saved to the Home screen. However, I CAN save website shortcuts using Firefox so it may be a Dolphin...

Samsung galaxy S8 non legge reti. IMEI bloccato

Salve a tutti. Ho comprato un S8 di seconda mano e dopo che il venditore e sparito mi sono reso conto che aveva google account bloccato e facendo ricerca ho scoperto che IMEI e sulla blacklist.

Insomma un bel pacco da quasi 400 euro
Non potendo comprarne un altro mi sono messo alla ricerca di come sbollacre accouhnt google e con odin ci sono riuscito. Ora ho accesso al telefono ma non si legge le sim e credo che sia dovuto all IMEI bloccato.

Cercando su youtube trovo solo gente che chissa...

Hi, I work on a crisis line and have a very poor mobile connection . If I place the phone in a window I can certainly make a phone call or get a text message , but data via 3G or 4G HTML protocol is shaky and sometimes not possible.

When the Wi-Fi goes down, either for local or statewide reasons I actually can't do my job unless I know that the Wi-Fi has gone down . This isn't a problem in the middle of the day (it actually happened today) because I'll probably notice it fairly soon, but...
