Microphone button suddenly missing from keyboard

All of a sudden, I'm missing the microphone button on my Samsung Note 5 keyboard. I am running android 7.0 and using the stock Samsung keyboard. Please note that I've already gone into setting and made sure that Google Voice Typing is enabled. I don't know what else to try to fix this issue and can't seem to find a solution online.
