I got a Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) last year, but I'm not exactly happy with it. Not enough RAM or storage on the thing, though I fixed some of that via micro sd. I've been looking at the various phones in the $250-400 range, over the past week or so, and have found the Moto G5 Plus, ZTE Axon 7, and the ASUS Zenfone 3 Zoom to be of interest so far.
