SD card Samsung 32GB for Samsung Tab A will not Mount

I recently bought a Tab. I bought an SD card Samsung 32GB. it is formed just find and I can use it in my phone but when I put the SD in the Tab A, all I get from the software (Apps, Storage) is Mount the SD card msg. - which I click on and nothing happens. Is the card supposed to click in place (it doesn't). Any suggestions ??
