OnePlus VS Samsung (other suggestions accepted)

Basically, I have the huawei honor 8 and it's shot. I've done research and to my knowledge, the best options for me would be the Samsung Galaxy s8 or the OnePlus 6. The OnePlus seems to have better performance, but the Samsung seems to have more features, water resistance, and a better camera. I hate a phone that lags and craps itself over small tasks so performance is important. But I've also always wanted a good camera. Battery life is also nice. My Huawei began with incredible battery...
