S7 Edge Bluetooth Connection Issues

My new S7 Edge cannot seem to find any of my Bluetooth devices. I had the same problem with a new phone I purchased last week and returned it due to this "defect". It now seems that it is something on my end since two different new phones in a row have had this problem.

All else seems to work on the phone. Good internet response, etc. These same Bluetooth devices all were detected successfully by my old Galaxy Note 2. My S7 Edge scans and scans and comes up with nothing. What am I overlooking?
