Notifications app icons

I have note 8 running oreo 8.0 notifications not working proper app icons like FB won't be any but when I click on it I'll have some notifications sometimes it does right , email should current new ones but I would have unread ones still should show number how many unread. I did knows yesterday I got a call or text couple times screen didn't light up

I just got this phone this week other those things love the phone its beast

Stock messages app showing incorrect (?) number on home screen notification dot/bubble

I have a Samsung Galaxy S9 running Oreo and my question is I assume related to the new notification functionality that came in since the previous version. Everytime I receive a new SMS into the stock Samsung messages app, it shows 7 in the notifcication bubble/dot on the home screen, but I have only received/have 1 unread message. When I actually do have multiple unread messages, the number goes up disproportionately again. I can't get my head around it, can someone please explain.

Stock firmware/Native android TV software?

Hi guys,
I have been using the nvidia shield TV for sometime and recently i bought an android box called H96 pro plus. My problem is that this box doesnt seem to have Native Android TV software as in the interface seems like a phone and even google play store doesnt show apps which are meant for TV (like how it is on nvidia shield TV)
so my question is, is there anyway i can root/install firmware to stock or native Android TV so that it acts like android TV?

Samsung S8 automatically locking SD Card as Read-Only

Hi!

So I've got a Galaxy S8, currently running Android 8.0.0 and Samsung Experience 9.0 (if at all relevant).

Since about two-three days ago, my phone has been automatically denying me access to writing on my Micro SD Card (128GB). I can't transfer any files from on-device storage to my Micro SD Card or modify its contents, as a read-only card should be.

I've inserted my Micro SD, through an adapter, into my laptop and used the 'chkdsk #: /f' command to fix it up. I then put the SD Card...

Benchmarking Note 9 disappointing me

I am curious as to why when I run the benchmarking app anututu on the note 9 I consistently get approx 168000 but when I ran it previously on the note 8 got 203000. Do I maybe need to factory reset my note 9 and then rerun and gradually install apps and see what is causing the slow down ?

How to reach more people ?

Hi All,

I recently developed abstract live wallpaper using opengl and libgdx engine. I submitted to Play Store but I only have like 40 installs and half of that are my friends

I was thinking to develop 10+ live wallpapers (quality live wallpapers) and try to cross promote them. What do you think ?

How to promote my app?

Hi guys,

I made an app and uploaded it to the Play Store. I'd like to get more downloads, but I have no idea how to promote my game or get noticed. I don't really have money to promote my app and I've found very few free opportunitues. I don't have a budget for advertising, because I'm 14 years old. I have a Galaxy S7 which has been a great experience. However, I am now looking at another upgrade. There are many new choices, S9, S9+ and Note9. There also is the fact that the S10 will most likely become available nex spring.

I have a Kogan KALED55KU8000SZA 55-inch Smart TV - identified by My Device Pro as an "MStar Android TV" from "MStar Semiconductor", using the "arbutus" board and the "monet" hardware. It runs Android TV 5.1.1 ("Lollipop"), Build aosp_arbutus-userdebug 5.1.1 LMY47V 1.1.20170720.153235 test-keys.

I've asked elsewhere about replacing Android TV with another Linux-based operating system (such as Ubuntu), however as I expected, it's looking like this might not be a realistic...

[HELP] Wifi router crash when phone screen off

So when I turn my phone screen off after some time like 3-4 min wifi connection on router crashes, computer connected with wire stays connected while all devices on wifi lose connection
I have xiaomi redmi 3 with 7.1 global stable rom and everything else works fine

Chrome redirect virus/malware

Hi guys for the past couple of months I've been experiencing an extremely annoying occurance with chrome.
